One of the SKC goals is to assist those in need of guidance, in any stage of their life, across all sections of the society. Our experienced members & partners mentor students to choose a suitable career option based on their skills, provide job assistance, wade through relationship difficulties, depression, addiction or other emotional concerns. Mental wellbeing is key & we believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptom. This helps them to confidently navigate through life's struggles & secure a better after life.
With this initiative, SKC aims to inspire individuals and ready our next generation to give back to the society and willingly become future SKC volunteers.
Career Advise
Foundation of every state is the education of its youth. Our Partners help students discover their strengths & work with them to narrow down their career choices. They help them identify viable career options, identify scholarship programs offered & set them on a focused path toward achieving their aspirations. SKC also provides assistance to special kids of our community members who struggle in academics & provide a roadmap for their success.
Job Assistance
Our community members come from diverse backgrounds & from different domains. They advise our youth on various courses, certifications, training program to take in order to secure a dream job. The community also helps job seekers get connected with right practitioners, firms, start-ups & provide opportunities to network with them.
Marriage Counseling
SKC encourages families to keep marriage simple, according to the Sunnah. We mentor youth before getting hooked to help them understand their rights, duties & provide mantras for successful marriage. Professional advise is also provided to couples who are going through a rough patch on principles of forgive & forget, mutual respect & in maintaining ties, all in the light of the Quran & the Sunnah.
Business Mentorship
SKC helps community members to get connected with the right experts. Our volunteers & partners come with several years of industry experience. They provide guidance to entrepreneurs & small business on viability of their ideas and feasibility to launch product or services. Assistance is also provided in setting up a local business / SOHO, advise on micro finance or kind of investments to make to become financially independent, who are further encouraged to give back to the society.
Youth Counseling
21st Century brings multitude of unique issues for our youth — dealing with job loss or work related stress, depression, anxiety, break-up in relationships, all kinds of online & offline addictions, or other emotional concerns. Mental wellbeing of our youth is key. If we make them more resilient, align their energies in the right channels, our youth directly adds value to the locality & uplifts the society. Most importantly when our youth are engaged their parents are at peace.
